The striker reviews his maiden goal at Mestalla
Arnaut Danjuma spoke to VCF Media after the 3-0 win against Getafe CF on Matchday 3 of the 2025/26 LaLiga season. The Dutch striker talked about his first goal for Valencia CF.
THE FIRST WIN
“We're happy to have won at home, at our own ground. The goal wasn't easy to score, but when I'm in the box, I know what I have to do.”
AN IMPORTANT WIN
“It's incredible to win here. We can relax a little more now during the international break. It was important to get our first win. It's always difficult against Getafe. They defend very well and are very well organised. We competed very well and won a tough game.”
HIS GOAL
“We won the ball back, and I received an incredible, perfect pass into space. With my speed, I know what I have to do when I go through on goal. The ball I was played was incredible, and my job was easier because of that.”
SCORING AT MESTALLA
“The feeling is indescribable. I'm very grateful to the club, the fans, and my teammates. I've received a great welcome, I feel good, and I'm very happy to get the opportunity to play at Mestalla. It's been incredible, and I hope it's the first of many goals.”
